The CB Dating Club

I remember seeing alot of funny stuff. And i had heard of CB hookups. But today i was a little blown away.
Two women come into the store i was in. Their really fired up about seeing a couple guys. I thought well that's cool.
Then while standing there i notice one says to the other you did, tell them what we were driving. Other lady replies yes.
So basically to make it short. They had been talking on the CB to an OTR trucker. Him and his buddy were traveling through the area.
They basically set up a date over their CB radio's to meet the guys and well have fun some. And when the truck arrived they flew right out to the guys.
I didn't know whether to be glad for them or think [censored] how hard up and how messed up.
I can see having a good time. And to each their own in what ever they do.
But from a 5 min. chat on a CB radio, to hooking up with some one you don't know from squat.
I know times have changed but man that is taking a risk.

Our little forum has been a hotbed for romance a few times. Divorces have sprung up because of a little sports forum. It really don't set a good example for the kids involed, taking him or her home to meet the youngins could be awkward. Uh son, this is who I've been typing to late at night!!!!

I dunno. Sometimes you find out more how a person is talking to them on a place like this than you could any other time or place.

But then again, sometimes it is obvious that you were miserable, and are now happy (which the entire world sees). What goes on behind the scenes is alot different than what folks see when you put a smile on for the public. Some folks need to live their own lifes, and not worry about others. Cleaning up one's own yard is always a good idea before a person passes judgement on someone else's. In the end we all answer to God, and it is up to us to set it straight. Answering to anyone on here isn't ever going to happen if it is me and my sig other that you are referring to (which it certainly seems so).

There have been a whole lot more than just you and your sig other. Just making a point. And I know for reality how it affects children. And the CB thing happens all the time. I've seen a many of married person meeting a trucker. Sorry if it offended, but you make it so blatant sometimes.

Again, it's no one's biz. I don't see any other poster on here say a word about it. Why? Because they know it is none of their business. Like I said before, we will answer to God and no one else. Both of us have dealt with what we have had to deal with. We know it has been/ will continue to be worth it. We have both made peace with our God. I know that living in a warzone was not what my sons needed to see-saw that when I was a kid. We seriously could care less if our relationship hairlips the whole [censored] world.

I was really referring to someone else I know on here, and I mentioned no names. But it must bother you or you wouldn't be making such a fuss. You and your ex can cope with it better, it's the little ones who pay later. Believe me I know!!!!!! Just drop it if you don't mind. And please keep the talk here private. The women don't need to know everything.

As far as the women go, she logs in and checks my msgs. We don't have any secrets between us. It bothered me because you seem to harp on it when no one else here seems to find it their concern. Yes, it does affect the kids, but not nearly as much as what my sons were seeing when I was with the ex.
